An event for the ages

VENUES

Whether you're in search of a romantic wedding venue in view of Lake Geneva to set hearts fluttering or a conference space in Lausanne that strikes a powerful chord, our collection of venues is destined to impress.

The Sandoz Ballroom

The jewel in the crown

Built in 1908, this romantic Belle Époque masterpiece transports you to a golden age. Glittering chandeliers rain crystal droplets, carved Baroque figures dance over the walls and painted frescoes and pillars adorn every corner as light from the stained-glass dome paints it all in diffuse and delicate hues. To celebrate here, in our largest room, is truly to be part of Lausanne history.

La Rotonde

Roundly admired

With its stucco figures, crisp moulding and delicate ceiling fresco, La Rotonde is a bright, ethereal space that offers beauty at every turn. Light pours in from its soaring arched and circular windows, which connect it seamlessly to the surrounding lake and gardens. It’s ideally suited to wedding ceremonies, drinks receptions and the most graceful of occasions.

Library

Read the room

Flowing between two distinct sections, this historic, handsome room spills out onto a majestic terrace from which to admire Lake Geneva. Gleaming marble floors, carved wood panelling and mirrored pillars give the space an abundance of period charm, and its many charming corners and nooks are ideal settings for more intimate conversations.

Palace Terrace

Out in the open

This large, open terrace space in the heart of the Beau-Rivage Palace gardens offers commanding views of Lake Geneva and the Alps. During the summer, it offers a picturesque spot from which to host a cocktail reception, while still feeling connected to the hotel’s public spaces.

Salon Léman

Lit by the lake

Dressed in creamy tones, this uplifting Neo-Baroque room is flooded with light from the lake just outside its tall French doors. Magnificent parquet, a grand fireplace and snowy cornicing lend the interior historic character, while the terrace outside offers wonderful views of Lake Geneva. The ideal venue for a glittering cocktail reception, sit-down dinner or conference.

Salon Elysée

Intimate and impressive

With its deep, rich reds, detailed marquetry and formal drapery, this inviting space offers an impressive setting for board meetings, intimate dinners or small conferences. When you need a breath of fresh air, there’s direct access to an outdoor terrace offering refreshing views of the gardens and Lake Geneva beyond.

Salon Beaux-Arts

Clean lines

With its elegant monochrome decor and light parquet floor, this salon is an energising setting for a small conference or private dinner. Throw open the French doors and you’ll find it opens onto the beautiful Beaux-Arts Terrace, with commanding views of Lake Geneva and the verdant gardens surrounding the hotel.

Beaux-Arts Terrace

Set to stun

Encircled by mature trees and shrubbery, this sheltered terrace offers a spectacular vantage from which to admire the lake and mountain scenery. It’s an ideal backdrop to an intimate wedding ceremony, cocktail reception or private lunch party, with room for up to 80 people.

Salon Olympique

Winning style

With its soothing wall murals and neutral colour scheme this meeting space feels fresh, while retaining classic period touches like wood panelling and a grand centrepiece chandelier. With its plenitude of light, it offers a versatile space equally suited to conferencing, breaking out or enjoying a private dinner with colleagues or loved ones.

Salon Romain

Well-connected

This grand, flexible space echoes the palatial scale and beauty of the hotel’s Beau-Rivage wing, with rich drapery adorning the windows, Art Nouveau wall-lamps and decorative plasterwork. For even more space it can be connected with the Hermitage Lounge, which opens onto panoramic views of Lake Geneva and the Alps.

Salon Hermitage

On the bright side

With its wall of windows, this is a bright space with the feel of a winter garden or conservatory, and Lake Geneva and the Alps its focal point. It offers room for up to 50 delegates on its own but can also be combined with the larger Salon Romain to maximise the space for bigger events.

Hermitage Terrace

Open to the view

Set in front of the Beau-Rivage Palace façade beside the gardens, the Hermitage Terrace enjoys sweeping views across the park, Lake Geneva and the Alps. An elegant outdoor setting for cocktail receptions, with room for up to 80 people.

Salon Arcades

Make an entrance

Formerly the grand reception area of Beau-Rivage Palace, this classically beautiful venue has its own entryway - perfect for private parties and self-contained events. There are still characterful traces of the former space to admire, like the old turnstile door and wooden archways. This venue has room for up to 120 guests, but the adjoining Library can be connected to increase capacity.

Salle Forum

Straight to business

Set apart from the main hotel areas with private access, the Forum is a modern conferencing space on the ground floor that opens onto the gardens and grounds. With room for up to 160 delegates, it’s ideal for conferences and business seminars, with extensive tech and state of the art acoustics for seamlessly connected sessions.
