In the heart of spring, Beau-Rivage Palace in Lausanne celebrates nature with Les Floralies, a week of events dedicated to wildlife, plants and the blooming gardens of Beau-Rivage Palace overlooking Lake Geneva.
In this exceptional lakeside setting, talks, workshops, artistic encounters and a botanical market invite guests to explore the plant and animal worlds in all their richness. Photographers, filmmakers, winemakers and artisans share their perspectives on nature through a programme that brings together discovery, creativity and transmission.
A springtime interlude to experience at the rhythm of the gardens of Beau-Rivage Palace, celebrating the beauty of the living world and the landscapes surrounding Lausanne.

Monday 4 May
An ikebana exhibition takes over the lobby of Beau-Rivage Palace, celebrating the Japanese art of floral arrangement through a delicate installation on display until 18 May.

Tuesday 5 May
Swiss botanical photographer Daniela Droz presents her artistic work dedicated to plants and will speak about her upcoming exhibition, on view from 29 May at Pic au Beau-Rivage Palace.

Wednesday 6 May
Bee School par Guerlain
Bees, guardians of the living world, reveal their secrets to younger guests during a playful two-hour workshop combining a visit to the hives with our beekeeper, educational games and a gourmet afternoon treat.

Swiss director Auriane Buri presents her film Inestimable Forêts, followed by a conversation with the audience.

Thursday 7 May
Two emblematic biodynamic estates meet at Pic au Beau-Rivage Palace. Corsica’s Abbatucci and Valais’ Chappaz come together around copper-free wines born from respect for terroir, indigenous grape varieties and lunar cycles. A tasting held on a “fruit day”, ideal for revealing their full aromatic expression.

Friday 8 May
Swiss wildlife photographer Antoine Lavorel, renowned for his immersive images of Alpine fauna, shares his perspective on the wild world during a talk followed by a cocktail and an intimate exchange with guests.

Saturday 9 May
Les Floralies conclude with a botanical market in the gardens of Beau-Rivage Palace. Discover creative crafts inspired by nature, essential oils made from herbs and flowers of the Swiss mountains, as well as natural teas and infusions. Guided tours of the park and a terrarium workshop will punctuate this spring day.
