Le livre sur les quais invites you to meet Augustin Trapenard, a master of the written word, to kick off the new year with a literary theme.

As a journalist and host of La Grande Librairie, Augustin Trapenard has been a constant presence on radio and television, opening up his microphone to writers, artists and creators, spreading the word about books far beyond the circle of committed readers. His art lies in inspiring the desire to read in those who listen to him, transforming each interview into a gateway to a work, a voice, an imagination.

Around his book Nos années Boomerang (Flammarion), Augustin Trapenard will look back on those live mornings on France Inter that brought literature into the daily lives of hundreds of thousands of listeners. From Fanny Ardant to Annie Ernaux, from Booba to Wajdi Mouawad, from Pierre Michon to Agnès Varda, through some thirty selected interviews, the book composes a sensitive map of contemporary cultures, where each guest becomes the relay for other books, other voices, other worlds.

The discussion will be led by Pascal Schouwey.
