Prepared to order and in limited numbers, the Beau-Rivage Palace’s Buche de Noel yule-log cake is an annual highlight of Christmas in Lausanne. This year’s version created by our team of pastry chefs features a delightful blend of chestnut laced with lemon pulp. Break through its highest-quality dark chocolate shell and see how the sweetness of the chestnut takes on a unique tang thanks to the delicate hint of citrus.

Christmas Market
Christmas 2023 marks the second year the Beau-Rivage Palace is mounting its exclusive Christmas Market beneath the elegant arches of Place du Général Guisan.
It’s the perfect place to start your Christmas celebration, and your Christmas shopping. Discover treasures and gift-ideas galore.
And at our elegant outdoor tables, our chefs will be serving Christmassy snacks and lunch dishes: hearty soups, raclette, tasty scallops, Buche de Noel yule log, pastries and baked goods.

Gourmet delights in the Lobby Lounge
From 2 December, the Lobby Lounge will be offering a whole range of delicious treats:
Tea Time offers scones and homemade sandwiches and is served from 2pm to 6pm at weekends and every day during the Christmas holidays.
Fondue sous les Arcades marks the start of the fondue season. Traditional or with black truffles, you'll enjoy it under a warm blanket with a view over the lake every day from 12pm to 9.30pm.
